Natural variation and photographs

Blue Rock Materials makes reasonable efforts to represent products accurately. Natural rock, gravel, sand, decomposed granite, boulders, and other natural landscaping materials vary in color, tone, pattern, texture, shape, and particle-size distribution. Variations can occur within a load and between batches, sources, and deliveries. Color names describe general appearance rather than an exact uniform shade.

Photographs and samples illustrate the material but cannot show every piece or guarantee an exact visual match. Lighting, screen settings, moisture, dust, and weathering affect appearance. Wet material may look different from dry material. A previous delivery may not match a later load exactly.

Make your selection before ordering

For the most informed selection, visit the yard to inspect currently available material. If you cannot visit, request recent photographs of current inventory before placing your order. Updated photographs remain subject to lighting, screen differences, and natural variation and do not reserve a particular batch unless the order expressly says so.

If you choose to purchase without inspecting current material in person, you accept the uncertainty inherent in choosing natural materials from photographs, descriptions, or samples. You are responsible for your aesthetic selection and for communicating any essential matching requirements before purchase. Blue Rock Materials does not guarantee an exact match to an existing landscape, photograph, sample, or previous load unless expressly agreed in writing.

Ordinary natural variation within the agreed product description is not, by itself, a product defect. This disclaimer does not authorize substitution of a different product, materially inaccurate descriptions, incorrect quantities, or goods that fail an expressly agreed specification. Applicable warranty and consumer rights remain in effect.

Size, coverage, and installation

Nominal sizes describe a product category; individual natural pieces vary. Coverage suggestions are estimates affected by depth, compaction, shape, site conditions, and installation method. Confirm the material, unit of sale, quantity, and project requirements before ordering. Blue Rock Materials remains responsible for supplying the agreed product and quantity.

Inspect material before spreading, blending, cutting, or installing it, and promptly report concerns. Installation does not automatically waive rights concerning defects or errors that could not reasonably be discovered beforehand. Manufacturer warranties and written product specifications, when applicable, are separate from this appearance disclaimer.
